The ISG Report is a joke, and many of us are "smirking" at it. Is it okay with you if we wait and see what the Joint Chiefs of Staff Report is rather than listen to a bunch of has beens?

Why should anyone take it seriously. It is nothing more than political cover for both the Democrat party and the Republicans. What does this panel of "experts" know from sitting in the green zone that military commanders on the ground don't know?
The answer is of course nothing.
What experience does this panel have with the particular situation in Iraq? The answer here is of course nothing.
Its a joke.

looks like Bush is being presented a existence preserver in a "way forward in Iraq" -- a large number so complicated that there could properly be no swish decision. it must be that nearby conflict can't be prevented. yet President Bush seems to be unwilling to seize the existence line presented him. Such arrogance!

Sure. The report says he has been a bad boy, but they gave him enough time to finish what he went there for and get out in time for his term to be up. Neat trick eh? He knows we will have to suffer the consequences but I don't think he gives a hoot. Remember Jim Baker works for Bush Sr!

But even so, he'll smirk.
Remember when your mom said, "If you do that too long, your face will stay that way!"? Bush was smirking when Babs whacked him, and it stayed that way.

Bush wants to see a long term commitment of troops ...not for democracy,but for the Oil companies that started this whole crap to get all "their people" in place in the Iraqi government.I hope this whole thing Blows up in Americas corporate face...that will teach them.
