are there laptops out there that let you use the internet from anywhere...not just in a wifi zone or a lan place...like if u were in the middle of the ocean could u send emails?
i think so but my friend said there wenet

Well.... Current connections depend upon wireless, landline, or Satellite. If you had a Satellite adapter it's possible. Maybe not from every point in the ocean.

If you have a satellite connectivity through an antenna or satellite phone connectivity and accounts with either the phone company or satellite company. With a combination of those two technologies you will be able to get on the internet in most places BUT not all. Many parts of the planet still can't be accessed even with those systems.

I don't know any laptops that can connect to the Internet without any kind of signal. If you had a power source you could subscribe to a satellite based network.. But as far as just getting a laptop without ANY connectivity to send emails... Nope, every computer must have a connection point of some sort.. Even if it is just one of those cellphone data cards.. They use the cel network to connect.
