I've been upgrading the ram on my computer, and I know what kind of ram I need. So, I bought what I thought was DDR ram from craigs list only to find out that it won't fit. It has 2 chips where I plug it into the slot instead of just one, and with what little bit of information I've been able to gather, that means it is SD RAM, correct?

If so, how can I tell what other specifications it has because I plan to sell it on Ebay.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

There is not enough information to tell you what type of RAM you have. DDR is single notched and 184-pin. SDRAM is double notched and 168-pin.

The following site will help you find the specs for your RAM.

umm no, wut kinda computer or motherboard do you have, you probably had the wrong slots

unless its a really really old computer, theres SDRAM which has 3 difference sets of contacts in a slot or DDR which has 2 different sets of contacts
