I spotted in the beginning of my pregnancy and my dr always told me that brown blood usually meant old blood which is better than having bright red blood. At this point your baby is still very small, i never had an ultrasound when i was spotting because it always stopped so i dont know anything about what they should see or not but that does seem odd. However if your dr didnt seem alarmed then i would try and relax and wait it out and im sure everything will be fine. Unfortanetly at this time whatever is going to happen will happen theres no stopping a miscarriage at this stage so again just hang in there and take it easy. Good luck!! Im sure everything will work out just fine :)

The same thing happen to me with my first baby except I was 11wks and I was spotting lightly too except they saw the baby. With my second pregnancy they couldn't see the baby or anything at around 7wks also but, I wasn't spotting. I was just cramping really bad and it was a threaten miscarriage. Girl, you'll be fine take it easy and if you still feel scared go to the hospital just to make sure everything is everything.

if your bleeding is brown it could mean a few differant things...one is a tubal pregnancy. Tubal pregnancies are when the egg doesn't make it into the uterus but instead implants itself in your tubes. This 99.9% of the time ends in MC. Second the baby could already be gone meaning there is no heart beat and you just haven't MC yet. This happened to me. when this happens you WILL eventually pass the tissue and MC. There is nothing you can do to prevent this from happening. Or you just could be spotting and there is nothing wrong at all. To make sure you'll need to have your blood drawn to make sure your HCG levels are going up still. If they arn't or just going up a little but it's likely that it's going to end in a MC.

If the bleeding is light and brown, it could be just old blood. Have they done blood work on you. The doctors said according to my lmp I should have been 7 weeks at my first ultrasound, and when they did it I was only 4 weeks 5 days. If they have ran blood work and your hcg is rising, you shouldn't have nothing to worry about. Did they reschedule for another ultrasound. Good luck.

I had an ectopic pregnancy and almost died from one of my fallopian tubes rupturing (at 5 weeks). If you have any severe pain at all, go straight to the hosptial, immediately. I didn't have any externally bleeding though. I'm sure you'll be fine just don't ignore the pain if you end up having any.

yea, get blood tests, and make sure that if u do get cramping, go to the docs immediately. But since you dont have any cramping, you shouldnt have anything to worry about. But you might want to be really persistant with the doctors anyways and let them know you want to be seen.

This happened to me once....and i played it off. My family told me to stay off my feet........so i went home and laid down....i woke up in the middle of a nap with blood everywhere....needless to say when i got to ER room they said i had a misscarriage and there was nothing i could do to prevent it.
