i don't agree on abortion as a type of contraceptive, or something someone can just light heartily go in to. but in some cases a child really isn't right for that person, and adoption can be more painful then abortion.
if a person isn't a stable person, and in the long term the child is going to become effected, or maybe neglected, then maybe that abortion COULD be possibility for that type of person. in the long run you have to think of the baby, and if the mother is just a complete mess, then she shouldn't have children. another reason could be if the pregnancy is making the mum ill, and in result putting her life in danger. you will never get a correct answer for that question, and every answer you get, someone will disagree, and other people will just be out raged, but very rarely will you actually get someone completely agreeing with that particular statement. good luck.

To me it is obvious that abortion is murder. If anything in this world is a sin, it's killing someone because you made a mistake several months earlier or because it would be inconvenient for you and would put a crimp in your lifestyle if that person were to live. The only argument pro-abortion advocates have is that a woman has the right to do what she wants with her own body. There's one big trouble with this. Give a DNA test to the mother and one to the baby. They will never match. Ever. So the baby is not "her own body." It's a unique individual. I definitely believe that a woman should be able to mutilate her own body if she wishes. Let her cut her hand off if she wants or as an even closer parallel to abortion let her suck her guts out with a vacuum cleaner. But her baby is not her own body. All this said, there is one case that murder is deemed to be justified and that is in the case of self defense. As far as I know all religions worldwide agree on this. Just acts of war and capital punishment are examples of self defense. Therefore if a doctor decides that it would be seriously life threatening for the mother to continue the pregnancy I think that in that case and that case only abortion would be justified.

I am not against abortion (I had one about a month ago) but I support it either. If the mother is in danger then yes it needs to be done. Without it the baby could kill her. Abortions are only dangerous if you try to do it yourself or develop an infection and don't get it treated. Call an abortion clinic to get the kinds of abortions and some more information. Good luck

Honestly, in my opinion, that's a hard question to answer. It really depends on the person and the situation. If a person is old enough to make the desicion to have sex knowing the consequences, then end up pregnant, that person should really have the baby and think about adoption if keeping the baby at that point is not feesable. If it's rape or insest that caused a person to get pregnant, then it should be up to the person and their doctor or family whether to get an abortion or not. Also, if the mother or babys health is in jeopardy, then it should be up to the mother, father of the baby and her doctor what to decide to do.

I really think this is a hard question for anyone to answer since everyone thinks differently on the subject and really no answer is right or wrong. It's just on what people think is the right or wrong thing to do. No one should really tell what they think a woman should or shouldn't do with THEIR body. So, if you take the advice of us on here, please make sure that it's also your desicion on what to do and not blame someone else if you do take their advice and it turns out to be wrong.

Lets just kill them all and let God sort this out. Abortion is murder. Period. You claim that it should be used if you aren't ready and cannot afford to have one? When is anyone ever REALLY ready? You say that until it is able to be self-supportive it doesn't REALLY count as being alive. Heck! My 18 year old son falls into this category. If this were still the days of Roman rule, by law, I could kill him. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. It's a piss poor excuse to dodge your responsibilities in life. And had your mother dodged the responsibility with you? Doctors who perform abortions do so against the oath they took of "Do no harm."

It's against God. God creates life and decides when it should be taken away. To have an abortion is to in effect destroy a life and act as God... this is not a Christian value.

But morally it is more a issue of responsibility. Take responsibility for your actions. If you are not able to deal with the consequences that come along with sex then you simply should not Be having it.

In cases of rape I believe that the abortion pill within the first week is acceptable after that adoption is the next best thing.

Abortion is something that undermines Gods authority and undermines each individuals humanity.

I am for abortion. Every woman has the right to choose.
People should not judge women that do get abortions cause it is their right not anyone else's.

If the fetus was going to be born with something terribly wrong with it then why would you want to make it suffer a horrible life?

If you were raped or molested and became pregnant would you really want to carry that fetus for 9 months?

If the mother's life were in danger and would die if she carried on with the pregnancy then do you think she should decide to say oh well let me die?

I think if it endangers the mother's life you should not have the baby. I came to this conclusion because I would assume that if it endangers the mother's life then that would automatically endanger the baby's life as well...

I personally would only ever have an abortion if I had been raped, and the child was a result of that, or if I discovered that there were serious complications and it could risk my own life, I believe that because I have 2 children already that I have to also think about whats best for them and they need a mummy.

I don't like the idea of people using it as a form of contraception, if you don't want to have kids, then don't have sex.

If the mother is in danger than maybe. For any other reason besides the mother being a rape victim, no I dont think it is right at all. You opened your legs you pay for it
