Not all of the attention is positive attention. Besides, for years there wasn't even a Rudolph, so the other reindeer had the spotlight all to themselves for all of that time. About time they shared.

They picked on Rudolph from the get go....he was always the outsider until they realized how precious that red nose of his really is..............he deserves the attention.....that special guy!
