School is getting quite difficult. It's the top school in the city and yeah...you can guess I am under a lot of stress. Should I just give up the things I love to do and just study full time? My friend says no, my happiness is more important. However, I don't want to drop out of this school because I want to stay with my rival and friends, however it is really putting a strain on my abilities. My grades have been dropping really low and my parents just can't seem to understand that I'm in a top competitive school and it should be normal for me to get worser grades. Or maybe I should run away or tell someone? My parents are seriously considering kicking me out of the house. To top it off, the enemy has been doing very well. Kinda a bit jealous. If I study full time, I won't be able to be with my friends. What to do...what to do...

Well...the problem is it is not really possible to split my time with my social life and school life. Even spending 15 minutes with them brings disaster. For example...that 15 minutes could change the outcome of how well I do on my piano test.

Forget about happiness now. I have almost never gone to a friend's house (partly because I'm actually not really allowed to often), but I feel grades are more important.
If you do well now, then you'll have even more happiness in the future if you get a lot of money, and then you'll probably have too much free time.

What grade are you in? Or are you in college? School should come first in your life. Spending a few hours a day studying does not mean that you have to give up everything fun. Just some things. If you are careful with your time you should be able to study and have fun.
Adults do not get to play all the time. They have to meet their responsibilities first. Work or study, comes first, then friends, phone, movies or whatever.

Later on in life you'll need good grades. Set a time to study. Say about 10-11 at nights before you go to bed? Or maybe if you have study hall study then? Grades are extremley important. You'll need it for college but you also can't go around studying your whole life and forgetting about your social life. You need to work it out where you can socialize and get decent grades. I figured that out as I got older.

If school really means that much to you and yeah paren'ts arent to tasty when it comes to bad grades .Honey , you may have to tighten up a little bit of happiness for your grades but once you get the system down then you will know exactly how to juggle them both. Could it be you re having to much fun and letting your grades slip somewhat here and there? .Sometimes it is easy for us to forget if we are suppose to sit down or stand up?You sound like a very smart person and I think you can get both out of life even if you have to put one on hold. Hope you the BEST!!!!

school first! in my experience, i feel like i wasted many years trying to fit in while letting my grades slip. it wasn't worth it. it took too long to catch back up to where i was before. you will see how important your hard work is when you are older. it will not be evident today, but the pay off in the future will be great. then it will be time to play and party! but......you still have to make SOME time for your friends now. you can't be a hermit. you still need social skills. good luck!

Happiness now will last a few minutes. Your grades will be with you for the rest of your life. Make the sacrifices now for the sake of your future.
Just remember to leave a little time for yourself. You can not be expected to study for every minute of your free time. Your brain will require an occassional break!

Your school always comes first. You really only have a 1 time chance to do school but as far as kicking it you will always be able to do that. Kicking it never really got anyone anywhere but school gets you far in life. Right now pay attention to your studies and then you have time to kick it.

Unhappiness now for unlimited potential for happiness later? Yes you should give up your happiness for grades. You'll find when you get into the real world that an education and a strong resume will take you farther than mackin' on the local pimp now. Good luck.
