Are you crazy? There are 8,145,060 possible combinations. Well more than hundreds! We are not going to try and list them all here.

How did I get that, you might ask?

Since there are 45 possible numbers, and you want all of the combinations with six of them, then

45C6 = 45!/(6!*(45-6)!) = 8,145,060

There are a lot of possible combinations- of course you cannot "find" them all. Assuming you cannot use a number more than once,

Case 1: 2 numbers 1-9, 2 numbers 10 - 45. 9*8*36*35 =90720.

Case 2: 4 numbers 1 - 9, 1 number 10 - 45: 9*8*7*6 * 36 = 108864

Case 3: 3 numbers 10 - 45 36*35*34 = 48240.

You have to subtract all the combinations you overcounted, though. Are you sure you worded the question correctly? Maybe you mean - how many ways can you choose 6 of the numbers 1 - 45? that is a totally different question, and then the answer is simply 45C6.

45C6 = (45!)/(6!(45 - 6)!)
45C6 = (45!)/(6! * 39!)
45C6 = 8145060

however if you can give repeating numbers like 414 or 144, then

45P6 = (45!)/((45 - 6)!)
45P6 = (45!)/(39!)
45P6 = 5864443200
