Well I can tell you that they're both linear functions that cross each other. Most importantly, they're PERPENDICULAR. This means that if you were to sketch them on the same graph, they'd look like an X. The lines are at 90 degree angles to each other.

slopes are negative inverses so they are perpendicular. first line crosses y axis at -1 and the second at +9. I don't know what you mean by nature.
