Ok, I have to write a paper on description in college. I have to describe how if you were to look at someone that you could tell how old they are! Either by their clothes or hairstyles... the person's ages are 25, 45,mid 30's, and 18. ALL FEMALES!
Can someone help me?

You could probably go about identifying the different ages by looking for the following:

18: Wearing latest "cliched" trends, nowadays such as Abercrombie, Uggs, Northface jackets, etc. Probably still bleaches hair and wears acrylic nails.

25: Casually yet professionally dressed, hairstyles may be the same as 18 year olds, but they will not be as obsessed with superficial clothing.

30's: Nearing middle age, probably found wearing looser clothes; starting to tuck shirts into pants. Clothing style is becoming less important.

40's: May start to dye hair again, this time to hide the new gray hairs. Some may not dye hair as they are trying to deny the presence of white hairs. Wears clothing that would easily embarass preteen daughters.

Younger females (18-25) usually wear more brightly-coloured clothings.

Only the 45 y.o. would be wearing reading glasses. The 18 and 25 y.o.'s might have odd piercings.

I can tell a persons age best by looking at their hands. Hands seem to show age more so than anything else about a person.
