There is a site dedicated to synchronicity you might enjoy, I loved the story abouts the boots a person found in Paris. In my life I was given many things by the Universe in a mysterious way so I believe the stories--w w w. flowpower.com/what is synchronicity. html

Synchronicity...As in the experiencing two incidents together?
no idea what it's good for. I think it's supposed to be logically meaningful but inexplicable to the person experiencing it. And they incidents are supposed to have some kind of underlying pattern.
There was a mention of synchronicity in 'Through the Looking-Glass' by Lewis Caroll where they White Queen says to Alice that they were living backwards and that the only advantage was that your memory works both ways.
John Constantine---He rides the synchronicity highway all the time, doesn't he? That helps him and his friends a lot.
Hmm, I can't think of any other use.

If you are experiencing synchronicity, then it means that your consciousness is sitting up and taking notice. There is synchronicity all around us most of the time, but the average person doesn't pick up on it. Once you begin to pay attention to these kinds of events, you will begin to notice them happening more often. These events are meant to show you how interconnected everything is, and that we all tap into the same source or grid. When these things happen in your life, start writing them down and you will be amazed how often this occurs and also begin to piece things together. ( it might creep you out initially, but you'll get over it!)

Have you ever heard of the Law of Truly Large Numbers? It says simply that with a large enough sample many odd coincidences are likely to happen.

As a physicist I can tell you that co-incidences happen all the time. However, so-called "synchronicity" is subjective, and is largely what you decide to make of it.

Synchronicity is a good word to use for people who don't believe in God producing miracles and people calling them miracles.
