ok ive been a makeup artist for 17 years. The only place to match up foundation is on your neck. Its the only place on your body with an even skin tone. Not your arm, hand, wrist or cheek. Your neck. Sometimes if you want good makeup you must spend god money as well. Cheap does not work which im sure you have learned. also try going to a Makeup artist. Consultations are free. Not the MAC counter or mall but at a Salon or Spa where they are licensed.

I use Bare Minerals, and I absolutely love their products. My skin is pretty red and uneven and I have acne, but they cover so well!! It seems kind of expensive at first, but it lasts forever and makes such a huge difference that its worth the price. Try the starter kit, because it comes with a lot of different shades, the bronzer, and other great products. If you go to ULTA, then they will match your shade for you, but its not a problem if you don't because the bare minerals seem to match pretty much any skin tone. My skin looks great now, and I bet yours will too!! I hope this helps you!!!

Physicians Formula. It's the only foundation I'll wear. It's a cheaper alternative to Bare Minerals but I still prefer it.

Bare Minerals by Bare Escentuals is superior to anything I have used before. I strongly recommend you give this brand a try, I used lancome before but this works a lot better and it's good for your skin too.

Shu Uemura makes amazing foundation. It's $38 I think. It's totally worth it because you can go to the make-up counter and they will tell you exactly what color to use. It's made with deep sea water and focuses on hydration so it's good for your skin. IDK I love it. I've tried many of the drug-store brands, as well as Mary-Kay, and department store foundations...I still <3 Shu Uemura the most.

I like the products by Rimmel, which you can buy at Wal Mart, they may be a little more expensive but they are pretty darn good...

I use bare minerals. I bought the starter kit at the bare escentuals boutique at our mall. It's also sold at sephora or online. Just know that I broke out at first and so did my sister. Turns out it was cleaning out our pores. We both have very healthy skin now to where we get compliments. It's wonderful stuff. I highly recomment it. It lasts forver too!

I love Chanel personally and think it's great. But if you would consider mineral makeup, Bare Escentuals is good too. Kirkland Signature by Borghese from Costco

Clinique (get the make up artist to match it to your skin...then ask for a one week sample to try it out)

if you have great skin, sometimes foundation isn't needed.
