I am getting married in vegas and will only have a "dinner reception" at a restaurant. What else could myself and guests do or go to have fun as a group? To dance? I am getting married on a sunday. Thinking of a post-cocktail after party. But, don't know where or even what to do. Any suggestions would be helpful. Have you been to any of the lounges inside of mgm? Like Tabu....

That way he could have his small ceremony alongside with your close fmaily and acquaintances, and he won't may be the focal element...and you will nevertheless have a super occasion afterwards to have a good time with all human beings!! in case you will try this, determine you be conscious the invites right...there's a definite etiquette approximately writing invites to the occasion because of the fact after the day of the marriage this is now not spoke of as a reception, however the occasion honoring you and your new husband. discuss with him approximately it...he might replace his techniques. that is all approximately compromse.

Sounds like a lot of fun for you two and your guests! I'd google vegas wedding sites and get ideas on what you might want to do. Vegas has so much to offer, don't miss out on anything. You could also contact the chamber of commerce for ideas on a small cocktail party. Plan ahead so you won't be disappointed or have any surprises.

Good Luck!

There are tons of dance clubs in Vegas that would be great for after your reception. My personal favorites are the Ghost Bar (in the Palms Casino) and Tangerine (in Treasure Island)

Also Studio 54 in MGM Grand is a very sexy club.

Here are some others. Congratulations on your wedding.

after my wedding about 15 of us rented the party room at PF Changs inside the aladdin. we had so much fun. the food and drinks were great. you can pre order food and the bring it in a little at a time so everyone has plenty of time to sip on clocktails and celebrate. It was the best! Have fun!
