The Holocaust DID occur of course. Some people do not want to believe that man could do that to other men and women. The Germans of course wish it would all go away. It would be tragic to have the Holocaust forgotten but that should be tempered by common sense and not shoved down peoples' throats. Steven Spielberg has some lesson or other about the Holocaust in every movie he does. It has become tiresome to me but if you lost someone in the Holocaust then you would have a different idea about it. I cannot judge Jewish motives because I didn't have relatives there in the death camps. I did, however, have uncles fighting to liberate the camps and for that I am grateful to them.

All the people who deny the Holocaust hate Jews. I think many of them know that it happened and they just deny it because they know this is one of the worst things they can say to Jews. Most Holocaust deniers nowadays are radical Muslims who would like to "remove Israel from the map" and by denying the Holocaust they mean to say that the main reason for the foundation of the state of Israel was fake. These people are so full of hate that they also believe that Jews were so evil, devilish and cunning people that they would have just made it up. I bet all the people who honestly deny the Holocaust believe the "Protocols of the Elders of Zion" were true. It is all about weird theories about Jews controlling the world with dark conspiracies.
Yes, of course it would be dangerous if it was forgotten. If this gets forgotten and gets denied openly, then the message is that you can commit genocide and get away with it and this is very dangerous.

I thoroughly disagree with those that believe the Holocaust did no longer exist. i think of that it got here approximately. there have been worse 'Holocausts', yet this replaced into the worst because of fact it got here approximately in what might desire to have been a civilised worldwide. i'm no longer a Jew; nor am I any of the styles of those that have been persecured (i'm 13) yet I do believe that it replaced into adverse. every physique who thinks the Holocaust is exagerrated needs to determine the info. in the event that they attempt and produce a courtroom case approximately it they are going to maximum in all probability be shot down for "tempering with historic info' and different issues. I thoroughly disagree with every physique that feels this form.

for the same reason some people believe that the first steps on the moon were filmed in a studio.... because they are ignorant (lacking knowledge or information as to a particular subject or fact...uninformed; unaware)

Just ask my grandmother if the Holocaust was real. Maybe take a trip to the Auschwitz concentration camp and make sure to view all the pictures out there... or maybe even meet a survivor... you know, check out their branded arms; I'm sure all those numbers on their skin were all the rage back then... too bad they match all those numbers that were left behind in German paperwork; I guess this means it wasn't a style after all. Ignorance is a bliss, but in this case it's just plain stupidity.

For the same reason some people believe that the moon landing was staged and aliens landed in Nevada (or wherever). And yes, it could be very dangerous if this horrible event was forgotten.

To be honest with you, it was such a horrible event that I think some people are just trying to forget it. It's like trying to ignore 9-11. I really feel for the people who were murdered and the survivors.

Some people are in denial, and don't want to believe it. Not only is there tons of physical evidence, but the Nazi's kept very accurate written records of the victims.

We should never forget. And we should act to stop the genocide in Darfur.
