For years now, thongs are worn for any occassion. Some even wear daily. I always felt that it was unsanitary b/c of femine reasons.......Anyone agree or disagree???

They are. You should wear cotton boy cut panties or if you like the thongs opt for the butterfly thongs. I saw this on the Tyra show. I will provide a link. Take a look at her past shows. She also provided great ideas for different sizes.

As long as your own hygiene is good, the panties are clean, and they have a cotton lining in the crotch, they are fine.
Otherwise, yes, they are very unsanitary, but that applies to all styles, not just thongs. Even full coverage underwear can be unsanitary if they aren't cotton lined.

On too many of the chicks out there thongs LOOK unsanitary. A woman really hot enough to wear one doesn’t need to worry about being sanitary. Like it or not it’s true!

I have never had any problems occur from wearing a thong so I will just keep on wearing them. I shower daily and wash all my clothing.

I've worn thongs for years, and have never had any problems with infection or odors. As long as you practice good hygiene, there shouldn't be a sanitation issue.

Doctors caution against wearing thongs on a daily basis. One doctor referred to them as "bacteria highways", allowing bacteria to move easily from back to front. If you're concerned about your health "down there" you want to wear full-bum (or even boy-cut) COTTON underwear as often as possible.

it's unsanitary. bacteria can travel from back to front and cause all types of problems. if you need to wear them, only for special occasions, and they should be cotton.

They should be just fine if you shower daily, and you wash your butt good.

I dunno. I know they're uncomfortable. I'm not saying to go out and buy 40 boxes of women's briefs, I just like the low cut cute ones.
