This question was beat to death about an our or two ago ... you can read all the comments there. The scopes are not strong enough to see a 15 foot object a quarter of a million miles away.

Have you known one of them had tummy problems there on the moon. Now all astronomers can see the result through their telescopes – it’s freezing/melting, freezing/melting, freezing/melting...
To be earnest, no modern telescope is likely to discern any evidence of their presence from the earth, but all gossips about a great fake are nonsense.
