wat da hell u mean by the people are very poor. let me tell u something, most nigerians are richer than u will ever be. most of the houses in nigeria are better than the houses u will ever dream of seeing. and just because they only show the poor part of nigeria, doesn't mean all of nigeria is poor. there are a lot os poor palces in america too.
if u dont got a good answer then dont even bother to answer!!!
And as for u that said go to nigeria and stay there, let me tell U somethin' all yall arrogant m o d a f u c k e r s get on my nerves!!!!!

and nigerians do celebrate christmas. nigerians are mostly christians and some muslims.

christmas in america is cool but its always the same old thing, very cold irritating. i never get into it. however my family now travel back to nigeria on christmas. not so cold but not hot its the season of the harmattan, around 68-74 degrees. i have tons of parties to attend, money is more i take 1000 us dollars and get around 130,000 nigerian money so for me am always excited. things are cheaper, we have fireworks competitions, soccer competition, festival, we always get new nigerian outwears b4 we leave. so for me its always better there, usa i might game the latest game system or electronic, some fake tree, eat, sleep because i hate snow. thats it. and also in nigeria the holiday is as long as the american summer holiday.

I'm Nigerian myself, and the difference is that their is no snow,longer vacations, and Christmas is better in Nigeria because everybody u know celebrate together even if they are not related. And to the ask er of this question, can u please spell Nigeria with capital N at the beginning...it's a country.

i think the traditions might be different. Like my Christmas in Texas is open gifts first then eat. In Cali it is invite guests have presents with them and at night have our own gifts. Every home is different. I want to go to London, I hear that entire cities decorate with big red bows and lights and all that good stuff, plus it snows there. It doesn't where I am at.
