Yes...absolutely...
The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors. - - ARTICLE II, SECTION 4 OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
President George W. Bush, Vice President Richard B. Cheney, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld, and Attorney General Alberto Gonzales have committed violations and subversions of the Constitution of the United States of America in an attempt to carry out with impunity crimes against peace and humanity and war crimes and deprivations of the civil rights of the people of the United States and other nations, by assuming powers of an imperial executive unaccountable to law and usurping powers of the Congress, the Judiciary and those reserved to the people of the United States, by the following acts:
1) Seizing power to wage wars of aggression in defiance of the U.S. Constitution, the U.N. Charter and the rule of law; carrying out a massive assault on and occupation of Iraq, a country that was not threatening the United States, resulting in the death and maiming of hundereds of thousands of Iraqis, and thousands of U.S. G.I.s.
2) Lying to the people of the U.S., to Congress, and to the U.N., providing false and deceptive rationales for war.
3) Authorizing, ordering and condoning direct attacks on civilians, civilian facilities and locations where civilian casualties were unavoidable.
4) Instituting a secret and illegal wiretapping and spying operation against the people of the United States through the National Security Agency.
5) Threatening the independence and sovereignty of Iraq by belligerently changing its government by force and assaulting Iraq in a war of aggression.
6) Authorizing, ordering and condoning assassinations, summary executions, kidnaping, secret and other illegal detentions of individuals, torture and physical and psychological coercion of prisoners to obtain false statements concerning acts and intentions of governments and individuals and violating within the United States, and by authorizing U.S. forces and agents elsewhere, the rights of individuals under the First, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth and Eighth Amendments to the Constitution of the United States, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.
7) Making, ordering and condoning false statements and propaganda about the conduct of foreign governments and individuals and acts by U.S. government personnel; manipulating the media and foreign governments with false information; concealing information vital to public discussion and informed judgment concerning acts, intentions and possession, or efforts to obtain weapons of mass destruction in order to falsely create a climate of fear and destroy opposition to U.S. wars of aggression and first strike attacks.
8) Violations and subversions of the Charter of the United Nations and international law, both a part of the "Supreme Law of the land" under Article VI, paragraph 2, of the Constitution, in an attempt to commit with impunity crimes against peace and humanity and war crimes in wars and threats of aggression against Afghanistan, Iraq and others and usurping powers of the United Nations and the peoples of its nations by bribery, coercion and other corrupt acts and by rejecting treaties, committing treaty violations, and frustrating compliance with treaties in order to destroy any means by which international law and institutions can prevent, affect, or adjudicate the exercise of U.S. military and economic power against the international community.
9) Acting to strip United States citizens of their constitutional and human rights, ordering indefinite detention of citizens, without access to counsel, without charge, and without opportunity to appear before a civil judicial officer to challenge the detention, based solely on the discretionary designation by the Executive of a citizen as an "enemy combatant."
10) Ordering indefinite detention of non-citizens in the United States and elsewhere, and without charge, at the discretionary designation of the Attorney General or the Secretary of Defense.
11) Ordering and authorizing the Attorney General to override judicial orders of release of detainees under INS jurisdiction, even where the judicial officer after full hearing determines a detainee is wrongfully held by the government.
12) Authorizing secret military tribunals and summary execution of persons who are not citizens who are designated solely at the discretion of the Executive who acts as indicting official, prosecutor and as the only avenue of appellate relief.
13) Refusing to provide public disclosure of the identities and locations of persons who have been arrested, detained and imprisoned by the U.S. government in the United States, including in response to Congressional inquiry.
14) Use of secret arrests of persons within the United States and elsewhere and denial of the right to public trials.
15) Authorizing the monitoring of confidential attorney-client privileged communications by the government, even in the absence of a court order and even where an incarcerated person has not been charged with a crime.
16) Ordering and authorizing the seizure of assets of persons in the United States, prior to hearing or trial, for lawful or innocent association with any entity that at the discretionary designation of the Executive has been deemed "terrorist."
17) Engaging in criminal neglect in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, depriving thousands of people in Louisiana, Mississippi and other Gulf States of urgently needed support, causing mass suffering and unnecessary loss of life.
18) Institutionalization of racial and religious profiling and authorization of domestic spying by federal law enforcement on persons based on their engagement in noncriminal religious and political activity.
19) Refusal to provide information and records necessary and appropriate for the constitutional right of legislative oversight of executive functions.
20) Rejecting treaties protective of peace and human rights and abrogation of the obligations of the United States under, and withdrawal from, international treaties and obligations without consent of the legislative branch, and including termination of the ABM treaty between the United States and Russia, and rescission of the authorizing signature from the Treaty of Rome which served as the basis for the International Criminal Court

1. Check the UN resolutions. We had TWO authorizing our going back into Iraq. Congress does not need to authorize military actions. Read the war powers act. They have to authorize continuation of military actions, which they have. 2.The US. has not kept the Red Cross from visiting prisoners. 3. Congress authorized it. 4. Are you serious? What civilians? What journalists? What "illegal weapons? A "new type of napalm"? I guess that it's alright for Al Qaeda and the insurgents to target civilians, Kidnap journalist and cut their heads off, blow up mosques, blow up markets/police stations or use IED's. 5. Only calls and e-mails to or from suspected terrorists. Again, congress approved this. 6. Signing statements are not unconstitutional. Earlier presidents have done so. 7. You must be kidding. 8. The person who ACTUALLY leaked the information was never charged in the matter. and, Plame was NOT a "covert" agent. She had been driving to Langley daily for over a year. That is no "covert". 9. I assume you're talking about the "executive order" for the succesion of the government in case of emergency. EVERY president issues this executive order. What legislation did he sign "negating the Bill of Rights and the Writ of Habeas Corpus"? You do realize that if the President signs a bill, that means IT PASSED BOTH THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES AND THE SENATE! 10. This one is rediculous. The negligence of Hurricane Katrina falls SOLEY at the feet of the former Gov. of Louisianna, and Mayor of New Orleans. If "Fore warning of 911 has been proven beyond doubt", I assume you want to prosecute former president Clinton and vp Gore as well?

I have never been this radical until Bush/Cheney Inc. From the election in 2000, where his brother was counting the votes, to 9/11, where the official explanation makes the Warren Commission report on the assassination of President Kennedy look like it came from the Bible, there has been a smelly trail behind everything they have done; a smell so bad that even I, who have been used to skunks and other obnoxious odors, cannot stomach it. When I first saw Bush, I found him amusing, but that has since turned into wanting to puke every time I see his face and hear the lies come from his lips. The men directing policy from the White House have not the slightest respect for the truth, and do not love this country, its people, the military, or most especially the Constitution of the United States. They have defiled the offices they were elected to serve us in, and lied under oath when they swore to serve, protect, and defend the Constitution. Even if Bush was giving an honest statement I would find it offensive coming from him. He knows how really Bad it is alright, and it is truly surprising he does not choke on his own words. If, when the Democrats gain control in January they do not call for the Impeachment of Bush and Cheney, there will not be a small contingent of people in this country who will want to know why and will not settle for the usual Potomac BS on this one.

To impeach Bush and Cheney would take too much time and money. By the time we spent millions of dollars of taxpayers' money on impeachment proceedings, these two cretins would be out of office and living on comfortable government pensions.
Besides, Bush and Cheney only lied to Congress about weapons of mass destruction. It wasn't anything as serious as Clinton lying to Congress about an extramarital sexual dalliance with another consenting adult and some bad real estate deals.
Better that Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, the rest of the current administration, and all 535 members of the most contemptible, arrogant, cowardly, greedy, incorrigible, incompetent, corrupt Congress in U.S. history, be put on trial for crimes against humanity in an international tribunal If convicted, they should then all be hanged right alongside Saddam Hussein. -RKO-

The smart democrats look at the future. They believe the longer they stay in power, the more damage to their political party they will cause, the better of a chance they will have in 2008. That is why there will be no talk of impeachment.
Gees, I a Republican and I even know that.

If ever impeachment were called for, this is it. For all the reasons you mentioned. However...I would rather have lots of hearings to bring out all the dirt, all the scandal, all the evil, all the criminality. Have it all laid out before the public day after day, week after week. Have indictments and trials of the flunkies. That might include Mr. Rove. The votes to remove from office are not there, it takes a 2/3 majority of the senate to convict and that number is not there--it probably won't be, either. Lots of investigations revealing all the dirt would serve the same purpose, helping the American people to become acquainted with the evil they themselves unleashed on the world with their stupid votes in 2000 and 2004. It is a lesson they really need to learn.

blah blah blah.
What is interesting is that gore didn't want the absentee ballots counted. Which automatically includes the troops that are stationed anywhere else would NOT be counted. Cause he knew it includes most of the military.
You wouldn't believe him if they had found WMD's. They did find old shells with Sarin gas on them. But of course that doesn't count in your little mind.
Bush did NOT tell those troops to abuse the people in abu ghrab.
He did not order a hurricane. He is not in charge of New Orleans - and he can't help it if people did not evacuate although they were told to.
Tell me in what way is Bush in charge of health care costs? There are many many more older folks now due to the baby boomer generation and people living longer. That raises rates as they have more claims. There are more obese people now that 20 yrs ago. They also increase rates due to obesity related health problems.
The American spirit is "weakening" due to people with bad attitudes that believe Bush is responsible for everything.
I'm surprised nobody claims the ozone layer is getting worse due to him farting.

well you have to have a good and provable offenses for impeachment. Stolen elections are bs because the votes in 2000 were recounted several times and each time was the same. Gore was the guilty one he and other dems didnt want absentee military votes to count(hm i wonder why), but wanted convicted felons even in jail to be able to vote(hm i wonder why)? No lies about WMDs several intelligence agencies, clinton, kerry, and others said they were there, not to mention saddams own scientist. Katrina, ray naggen was more to blame than anybody and no one person or group of people can stop a hurricane. Health cost are going to go up no matter whos in office, and the geneva convention is way out of date but we have followed it. you mistaking our troops heads being cut off with us cutting off there heads. We give them food and help. instead of trying to get our rightful president impeached because you dont like him go out there and do something worthwhile like send our troops messages to let them know we as an american people care for them and wish for there safe return. below is some quotes for you to help understand better

Katrina.... Amazing its allthe fed's fault, Local and state Goverment Have no responcibility to their citizens i see, Mayor and Gov should have fried over that one.. but also there is this thing called personal responcibility, can't expect the goverment to hold your hand or let you suck milk all your life.
Geneva Convention? Ever read it? Try it sometime I would reccomend article 4
