It's highly likely. We only got started on spaceflight in the late 1950s. Since then we have sent spacecraft out to many of the planets and photographed them from only a few hundred thousand miles. There are definitely planets somewhere that developed earlier than we did, and have the experience of thousands, maybe millions of years of rocket and spacecraft design allowing them to travel great distances.
Maybe some came across a rather undeveloped planet at the right distance from its local star to allow it to support life. Maybe they took "samples" of lifeforms from that planet, and examined them to see how they worked, or simply observed them to see what way they are developing.
Maybe one day they will make themselves known and point us in the right direction to develop less warlike tendencies, develop better medicine, to develop better rockets to travel to other planets.... or maybe they'll think were not worth bothering with and leave us alone.

Without a doubt Davey! As some have already mentioned since the beginning of time and the Mayan's - lets look at the pyramids - not just the complex building and accuracy - but the drawings of submarines, flying saucers, helicopters etc. These pictures have been found in many ancient civilisations. In more recent times, have you seen the footage from the hubble, where it shows something coming towards earth? it suddenly stops and veers off at a right angle. Some experts say this is just ice - space dust etc. but if you look carefully you can see a missile that is shot at it and its taking action to avoid being hit. Its said that the missile was fired from somewhere in Australia, that turned out to be the Pine Gap Base. If you're still in doubt - the size of the universe - each star in the sky is like a sun - each one can have as many planets around it as our sun. How can we be the only ones with life on? ( notice I didn't say intelligent)

I certainly believe we are visited by adavanced extraterrestrial races and have been for a long time.
Certain agencies that operate with the american government seem to have a lot information & technology on this, which is withheld from the public at large!!
If you are interested in this subject check Steven Greer's disclosure project?

yes, of course. Through history there have been lots of reports and false ones too. The Mayans predicted modern planes and helicopters which was incredible. Yet a bizarre even was an unidentified alien figure painted on the walls. A great hot spot is at Roswell, New Mexico.

Yes, but only by chance, while out searching for intelligent life. Which is why they weren't around long enough to be spotted, that and the real reason they stopped was because the navigator couldn't wait another 7 light years for his morning constitutionals....
Which just goes to show that anyone can get caught out if you don't check everyone has already been before making a journey....

No, not at all. It's an exciting idea, but consider how vast the Universe is and how sparsely inhabited by intelligent, technologically advanced societies it may be. And then consider that any planet beyond 76 light years has yet to become aware of us. Furthermore, if a civilization is located 39 light years away and immediately sent us a message, we would still not expect to receive it yet.

Nope. There's no physical evidence. Someone would have dropped a lighter or a set of keys that we would have found. I believe there is a $100,000 prize for anyone who can present physical evidence of alien visitation. I know if I had some, I'd definitely cash in for the prize and then start the talk show circuit.

This is the stupidest idea, other than religion, to be thought up. The Universe is so large that it would be impossible to find a planet inhabited by intelligent life, let alone have the time to space hop all over the universe looking for it because gaxalies are millions of light years apart.
