I just read that if you count the number of words in the bible and divide that number by the number of verses, the answer is exactly 666.

The number of Letters: 3,566,480
The number of words: 774,746
The number of verses: 31,173

No matter what you divide, it doesn't work... Or try these numbers: While the anonymous statistician found 3,586,589 letters in the King James Version as against Dr. Horne's 3,566,480, 2 other number freaks, counting independently, came up with 3,586,489 letters and 3,567,180 letters respectively.

Where did you read that?

That's would mean on average, each verse contains 666 words.

Have you ever looked at a bible, are any verses that long? There's no secret math code hidden in the script of the bible. Or God would have choosen the Asians as his people.

That sounds interesting. Where did you read it? Is it a reliable source? Why don't you try it yourself to check and see if it is true? Does the version of the Bible make a difference? Try several different versions and see if it is true for all or any of them. If you are going to list this in the chemistry section then at least use the scientific method and experiment with different Bibles.
