let me DO it to you, let me rub your legs, rub your thighs, rub your back, rub your neck as I whisper into your ear, calm down, close your eyes, listen to my every command as I slide one hand on to your neck and gentle rub your neck and shoulders, and just as your getting a little calmer, and getting into me calming you down, down goes my hand, for the treasure of a life time, are they worth my time here, are they a great treasure?
are you calm yet
I am getting excited now

Oh boy, you are asking the wrong person. Somethings just set me off and there's not stopping it. Get a piece of paper and a pen and write as fast as you can about how you feel. Or type it out on notepad or something. If you don't give a lick, politely tell the other person how YOU feel when they do that. Good luck.

take 10 deap breathes while counting backwards from 10 to 0. then do a little dance to the first song you hear on the radio. and spin around 3 times. then smile as big as possible.

it really works.

Music. That normally does it for me
Sometime, I just have to lock my self in a room and just rant at imaginary people. eventually, I'll calm down and be ready to step back into real life. Best wishes.

One of the easiest ways is to do "controlled breathing." Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth - slowly. As you breathe, think "calm" as you breathe in and then imagine the stress or anger is leaving your body every time you breathe out.

Close your eyes and think of the beach. Deep-breathe for a few minutes. Stretch your arms, back, and legs.

Feel better?

hey listen, its okay...I'm big on tuning out negative emotions. I don't mean lying to myself either. Just don't dwell on stuff that gets you down and out or just plain angry. You can acknowledge it and deal with it in some form or fashion, just don't dwell on it and maul over it in your mind. Its all about your perspective. If you want to get mad, you will. If you don't want to get mad or lose it, there is a way not to.
