I've watched a lot of anime. Every friday night I'll watch at least 15 episodes. I go through a series very quickly. There are always the few that I get hooked on and then start calling my "favourite anime". But personally, there is only one anime that really made an impression on me. I was taken aback, suprised, at how good of quality the anime was. Not only was the music good, but the artwork was fantastic and the japanese voice actors were chosen well because all suited their own character very well. But most of all, the storyline was wicked!

Anime: Shakugan no Shana

Summary (***spoilers of the first few episodes***):

"The world has been deceived from the truth. The Guze no Tomogara have been stealing human existence for selfish, power-fulfilling purposes. As a result, human beings become lifeless entities known as Torches. Their soul becomes nothing more than a candle in the wind and what's worse is that their identity is erased from the history of the world entirely when their flame goes out.

Sakai Yuuji was just a normal high school student until he found himself caught in between an eternal struggle for power. On his way home one day, time came to a screeching halt. Yuuji scanned his surrounding, finding everything motionless. Without any given opportunity to asess the situation, Yuuji met face-to-face with demons that wished to rob him of his life. Before their plans had succeeded, a small-stature, sword-wielding girl with burning red hair and matching crimson eyes calling herself a Flame Haze came to his aid. The mysterious girl managed to win the battle, but Yuuji unfortunately finds out that he has already become a torch a long time ago. However, Yuuji's flame did not extinguish days later. Rather, his flame regenerated at the stroke of midnight. Yuuji's rare ability labeled him a prime target for the Guze no Tomogara. In order to protect their reality and prevent the loss of more human lives, Yuuji joins forces with Shana the Flame Haze in her never-ending struggle against the Guze no Tomogara."

I don't really like watching stuff, but to me, Naruto is by far the best. The quality is good. But many complain about the fillers in the anime and want them to get on with the real story, the story after the time-skip. You know, when Naruto has grown up? But some just sit back and watch the fillers. Like the nyouri ninja (ugh)episode, I mean, after watching that, I think:" Isn't Naruto turning into a normal day-to-day anime now?" Perhaps it's to potray their everyday lives, ok..... But couldn't they just give a specific date when the anime that is following the real manga storyline is going to be made/released?

And I heard Naruto in the anime makes the characters look gayer. LOL at that!!!!

Anyway, what would you think Kishimoto will react to this if he saw that heap of perverted fandoms?

Currently I'm only really watching/reading Naruto, but if you mean fave of all time, then I'd have to pick Gundam Wing or Ranma 1/2. Or possibly Escaflowne.
I also *looove* Popee the Performer, Hare Nochi Guu, and Garakuta no Stain! ^___^ Good times.

Naruto. Because the story is very nice. Anime Naruto sumtimes give me motivation to work hard also, seeing Naruto is working very hard just for Sasuke to accept him, makes me feel I had to work hard too. The character's design is also very nice.

I believe that i like both Fullmetal Alchemist and Chrono Crusade. Theyre plot lines are very complex and have very good and clearly presented moral values.

Rurouni Kenshin.

It had everything, lots of sword action, some romance and spectacular music. Also, you get to know more about japanese culture and history, as it is based in true events.
