Read the report on the link ..... children are dying from these magnets, so why are they still making and selling toys with them???

because people are buying them. without consumers, they make no money. i was going to buy some because my older kids wanted them, but i found out about a recall and decided not to since i have a two year old.
At one time, the Magnetix brand had been recalled.

supply and demand. If the toy still turns a profit, then the manufacturer will continue production.
