Here in Queensland Australia my family and I will be sweltering with fans working overtime. Some will attend Church services and wish the baby Jesus Happy Birthday. We will exchange gifts, eat too many prawns,(shrimp), chicken, Christmas pudding some will get drunk and suffer a hangover. In general we will kick back take things easy for a few days. What will you do?

I live in Toronto, Canada. There's the early morning gifts with immediate family, then church. We do the same overeating thing (though with lamb or turkey, not shrimp) and taking things easy.
usually my family also gets up to some antics in the snow; snowball fights, snowmen....the whole affair's pretty laid back.

I live in a big city in the south pacific region and I observe that the X'mas festival has become more and more commercial. Decors along the streets and shopping malls are put up in early November and the call to buy buy buy is everywhere. No snow here but plenty of fakes. The Christians attend church services and celebrations from parties to barbecues are quite the norm.
The beautiful thing is that the non Christians are invited to the celebrations and they do join in wholeheartedly -- no hang-ups about this at all.

People of other religions don't celebrate Christmas!
