The service academies are interesting places. The faculty are not usually as prominant as those at major universities and many do not have PhDs.

But the schools are all highly selective, so the quality of the students exceeds the quality seen at most schools. And since they are military schools, the students are forced to spend time on their studies. Therefore, most get high quality educations.

There were a lot of graduates of the service academies in my MBA class at Duke -- and all were impressive.

As for Air Force -- it doesn't have the same academic reputation as Annapollis or West Point -- but it is a great place to go if you want to become a pilot.

I think it is by far one of the most disiplined and difficult of all colleges. To get into the Air Force Academy is a feat in itself, and it would top almost any job resime that life happens to throw at u. The people that come out of that school are living proof that they are a bunch of hard working professional people that dont fool around and are willing to sacrifice a big part of their life in order to be succesfull. The Air Force Academy will probably be the hardest single obstacle to come by, but its the finished product that so many people cant help but be awed by. The military will mature u more than u can possibly imagine. And u wont have any problem making six figures when u get out.

Not a very good choice. However West Point would be an excellant choice.
