Michael the Archangel. He is a warrior angel which is seen when Gabriel tried to come with an answer to Daniel's question when he was in prayer and fasting for 21 days (I think) and the "prince over Persia" which is understood to be a demon over that region stopped him. Michael showed up and fought him, apparently winning the battle since Gabriel appeared to Daniel and answered him. Michael has always fascinated me. I imagine seeing such a powerful angelic presence would be a fearful experience.

Best Wishes,

Sue

Archangels are found in a number of religious traditions, including Islam, Judaism and Zoroastrianism. In Biblical Christianity, the only archangel ever clearly named as being of the order is Michael.
