Probably American Airlines is your best bet, flying into Tortola (airport code EIS).

Flying is not expensive from San Juan to BVI. There are 2 airlines that offer direct flights... Cape Air and American Airlines.

flying direct is the best way to go.......you can fly to St Thomas and take the ferry from Charlotte Amalie or Red Hook, but it's more expensive, longer, fraught with the danger of missing connections.......fly direct. Also look and see if Caribbean Star/Caribbean Sun is flying from SJU to EIS.....
