Why are we put here? Who made us? For what? What is the meaning of life as we all know it?

80% of humanity, the religious folks, don't need to ask the meaning of life, the church tells them....the supernatural explanation. But the rest of us can't swallow religious dogma, because there's no evidence. Nobody can prove that there life after death, that people are tortured or rewarded after life or that there's invisible spirits running around.

I've come to two conclusions recently:

1. Life has no meaning
2. Life has a million meanings.

First, there's a certainty that death and annihilation awaits not only you, but the Earth in general. It's an astonomical certainty that our sun will supernova and leave the earth a burnt crisp, not to mention all the other extinction level events around the corner.

Second, the million things that give us meaning are the pleasurable experiences we can conjure up during the short period we are here on the earth, in the form of the relationships we have with our kids and other people, and the 'housekeeping' types of purposes. What i mean by that are the curing disease, ending hunger, improving literacy, reducing crime, preventing war, helping other kinds of things.

So the bottom line is, we only have a temporary meaning to life, to reduce pain and increase pleasure, other than that everything is lost to oblivion.

Well from a religous aspect we were put here as a test to see whether or not we were worthy for the afterlife, and scientifically to reproduce and futher the advancement of socieity, i.e. technology and reproduction. But if you want to know the anwser the government tries to hide from you, then you need to PUT the TEA KETTLE IN THE DUCK, but MAKE SURE NOT TO THROW the LEPRACAINS, you know what i'm talkin' about

To taste of red fish and chips,
To avoid the fat of the hips,
To be in awe of blue quail and dressing,
Use napkin to avoid making messing,
To savor the yellow beef and broccoli,
No need to worry about Mr. Stromboli,
To enjoy the wonders of the orange duck,
Please, darling, pass the sauce.
To endure Granma's purple plum surprise,
Everyone else's curiosity is arise,
And finally to eat green eggs and ham,
On a train, in a plane, in a box, with a fox.

Secret? It's absolutely no secret. You live. That's it. Live life the best you can. Our whole purpose in life is to live. How you live may be the secret. That's it.

You are a hueman being, spirit,a being of light, having unity with God within the heart in unconditional love. You are the life of the body, you lived before you had this body an you will live after it is gone. "God dwells within you as you". Your purpose is to awake to all "this" and you supreme duty is to express "this". It could be said that all things are but a holographic display of Gods vision of himself. Love

God made us, and put us here because He had a purpose for us. One purpose, I believe, is simply so we can exist and enjoy what life is and can be. God is glorified by His creation, and in a sense, it's a way for God to artistically express Himself. He wants to love His people He created and be loved in return, and He also wants us to share love to each other. Finally, God wants us to enjoy our lives, and explore the gift of creation that He gave us.

We are here to help others. However, I'm not sure what the others are doing here.
