factor as y=(x+1)(x+2)(x-2)

so y=0 at -1,-2, and 2. these are points on the x-axis. As x gets larger than 2, y just keeps increasing. Look at y for large negative values of x. There is an x^3 there that will dominate on either end. For large negative x , x^3 becomes larger and larger negative. Curve is like an S on its side.

y-intersept is -4

x intercepts are -2, -1, 2

line starts in bottom left, goes up, down, then up again ends in top right corner

I'll can compute the points where it turn up and down, but you'll first have to post a pic of yourself in a bikiny.
