Ricky Gervais definitely makes a funnier boss than Steve Carrell. I find that the American show takes too much from the British storyline, which makes the humour a bit unoriginal. The British version had a better supporting cast to make sure the series kept the laughs going. Also, the British show ended before it became long, drawn out and unfunny.

They are different. Personally, I prefer the American version but that's because it's more like where I live.

They are different, with the UK version being a bit more racy, but both have the same edginess. It comes down to what u r used to.

I would have to say yes as most english shows are better as they are more open and less sensored the american shows
