I have been teaching my daughter sign language since she was an infant, and am now doing a research paper for a class on it. Finding research on the subject has been difficult, and I live in a small town with a super-small library (no help there). I would love to find out more information. Any good books, wesites or other information would be great!

Try the ASHA website.... all speech language people belong to it you may be able to fing the stats you want.... also talk to your local school ever school has a professional for communication disorders that professional may be able to give you a first person interview. Also every state has a deaf school so they may have stats also you can't find anywhere else.
My niece is deaf and my son has signed since he was able, He speaks to the adults around but automatically sign to my niece.. my son is 20 months.. if you need and more first hand information let me know.

you may ask your interior sight college's speech therapist, or inquire at your interior sight psychological wellbeing organization. they might have the skill to direct you to 3 professionals that would grant you advice.
