Here in St. Louis Missouri, we had our first snow last Thursday/Friday. Actually, much of St. Louis was first bogged down by the city's worse ice storm in decades, which then turned into snow. Hundreds upon hundreds of trees down, and 500,000 people without power for 4 days plus. But wow.. all the ice in the trees was so pretty! Where I live, we only received about 3 inches of snow, but just a little ways north they got about a foot and a half of the white stuff. It's gonna be a wild ride this winter! Woohoo for snow!

Do you usually get much snow there? I live in south eastern Michigan and we have about an inch, maybe two on the ground but it is supposed to get into the 40's and rain next week. Bye-bye snow!

Yes, we got 12+ inches last Thursday and a snow day on Friday of last week...Chicago.
