It took a good 2 months for me... but then I'd have slight pains here and there up to a little after a year of the c-section. They weren't nearly as bad, but I'd still get pains sometimes. Goodluck :( Congrats on your baby!!! :)

for me it took about two weeks before i could walk straight. Dont feel bad it was my first one two. It will take six full months before are complelty hield. Just relax and take a day at a time. I know im just getting to where it doesnt bother me so much. You also cant wear tight clothes in that area. So be careful. Extremly while you excercise. Cant excercise to hard until after six months is over. Good Luck on every thing

i would never wish a c-section on my worst enemy! it was the most awful experiance for me. i was in PAIN for about a month and REALLY SORE for another month. i'm 3 months postpartum and i still have numb spots on my belly, get sharp pains, BAD back pain, and im still having trouble using some of my muscles. i had to sleep in my lazy boy for about 2/3 weeks because i couldnt bear getting into bed, it just hurt too bad. ok, lol, i made that sound awful didnt i? well, granted i'm still having a few issues, but i feel MUCH better and starting to feel "back to normal".....good luck sweetie and get ALL the support you can from friends and family!

it took me about 4 weeks to feel better after my c-section, but i still had to be careful because certain movements would make me hurt. It still itches from time to time now and it is still numb around the area.

With my first it took me a month to walk right again. After my 2nd, I felt no pain and was walking in a matter of days. It just depends.

I think it can take a good 6 weeks to really "heal" - remember, it's major abdominal surgery and they've cut through fat and muscle so all those layers have to "knit" back together.
Keep an eye on your scar, if it gets very red and "angry" looking, get yourself checked out.

Depends on whether you became infected and whether you have adhesions. If you have adhesions you may be in pain for the rest of your life.
