I have dry eyes and today my contact on my left eye wouldn't come out for about 5mins, it was like fused to my eye. I got totally freaked. Is there something I can do to stop my eyes from drying?

I flushed it with contact solution about 5-7 times and still it wouldn't come out

I am an optometry assistant, you have to go to the eye doctor. why are you wearing contacts if you have dry eyes?
Dry eyes are a preexisting condition against contacts.
Try some artificial tears and wear glasses instead of contacts. The eye needs moisture to be healthy.

You should always use contact lens lubricant if you have dry eyes. I stopped using the lenses because of dry eyes. Used them for 30 years almost. Now back to wearing glasses.
