There is so many people that celebrate Christmas, not even thinking about the true meaning of it at all. Christmas is Jesus' birthday, and we give gifts to each other just like the 3 kings brought to the crib.....Santa Clause is Saint Nicholas, and should be celebrated on December 7th. Do you agree?

Actually, I would like to correct myself. Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus. I am not sure, but I think that Jesus' real birthday was in the spring....

Yes you are right Jesus was probably born sometime in the spring, because the shepards were tending there flock (Luke 2:8) but we really don't know because God didn't tell us; what Christ did for us is more important.... And He doesn't tell us there were three wise men just three gifts! One of them could have brought two gifts... God also has said not to add to or take away anything from His word or He would add to him the plagues written in the [Bible] (Rev. 22:18) He also tells us that lying is an abomination to Him and so I don't think you should put a lie into your childrens head....

There are valid motives that the Jehovah's Witnesses evaluate Christmas a pagan celebration. very many of the customs are in actuality from comparable wintertime non Christian festivities. nonetheless those could be authentic celebrating the word made flesh isn't incorrect. that's greater efficient to no longer get caught up interior the controversy devoid of expertise. so which you're asking a real stable question. Jesus became into born interior the final week of September. it fairly is shown biblically. a lot of people of the Judaic faith do no longer think of of a individual's existence from the 1st breath at start yet evaluate a individual as starting to be a residing soul at thought. If Jesus became into born interior the final week of September according to time of thought what became into the week of the twelve months Jesus became into conceived? Is it an blunders to have fun the terrific present God Almighty has given guy the very start of this present? No, needless to say no longer.

Coming from a Christian household, my mom always says that "Jesus is the reason for the season." Although Christmas is historically/biblically supposed to be a time to celebrate His birth, people have the freedom to choose whether or not they believe this. It's all based on opinion, so you can celebrate Jesus's birth, the spirit of giving, spending time with family, or even Santa Claus if you wish.
Have a great holiday =]

Saint Nicholas Day is December 6--so his day got absorbed into the Christmas celebration.
We don't celebrate Santa Claus on Christmas; Santa Claus celebrates with us. You could say Santa Claus is Christmas' cheerleader, and Jesus is the captain of the Christmas team.

When we celebrate Christmas we celebrate not only the birth of the Christ Child but the message of love God and love your neighborhor as you love yourself that Christ brought to this world. Santa Claus is the embodiement of that kind of love - he is an icon, a fantasy that helps us to learn the lessons of love that Christ taught.
We give gifts to one another to show our affection and love for each other.
Christmas is a time of giving - Santa Claus gives without expecting anything in return (except maybe some milk and cookies). Another message for us.
Read the Polar Express - the book not the movie. The Polar Express tells us why we believe in the magic of Christmas.
Oh, and St. Nicholas (aka Santa Claus) is celebrated on the 6th of December - not the 7th.
I think when Jesus looks down on us at Christmas time, he feels like he did good. His birth gives new birth to love and caring and sharing. It gives families a time to come together to celebrate and renew their love for one another.
Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year and Santa Claus is certainly a good model for us to follow. I think Jesus would like Santa very much.

Thank The Lord that there are still Christians in the world!!!! Reading some of these other questions from other people, I was beginning to think that you and me were the only 2 left!! Yes I totally agree with you. I don't know much about St. Nicholaus, but I do know that he isn't really relevant to Christmas at all. Jesus is!!!!

Jesus wasn't even born on the 25th. Constantine changed the day we celebrate Christmas when he came to power. Eat that, f*cktard.
