when i was at school my teacher taught us how to divide celcius in to farenhiete (please mind the spelling) ie xx / by xx times xx + xx = XX does anyone know it?

°F = (°C × 1.8) + 32

To convert Celsius to F:-

1. Divide Celsisu by c (100/5 = 20)
2. Multiple it by 9 (20* 9= 180)
3. Add 32 (180+32= 212)

(F-32)/9 = C/5

That is basic formula.

C = 5/9(F-32)
F = 9/5 C + 32

you do temprepure in degrees celcius multiplied by 9 then divide by 32
