Are Sears and Walmart opticals any good or should I go with something like lens crafters?

One word of caution to purchasing glasses on-line...don't. You may save money, but what if the prescription turns out wrong, do they charge for remaking them?

Also, who is going to take the measurements needed to make the glasses? You can be charged up to $100 for an optician to take those measurements.

Walmart and Sears are price leaders, but it has been my experience that 7 out of 10 pairs will be made wrong. And, Sears Optical, JC Penney Optical, Target Optical, Pearle Vision and Bj Wholesale Cub Optical are owned by the same people that own Lenscrafters. And those people are an Italian eyeglass frame manufacturer, Luxottica Corp.

Sears and walmart are more economical, but lenscrafters might have better brands.
