I am looking to purchase a new gaming notebook. I just bought an Alienware notebook and after 2 weeks of hell with them and their computer I sent it back for a full refund. I am looking for something with at least Core 2 Duo T7200 and Nvidia Go 7600. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Good job with the Alienware! I bought one and went through hell and back with their tech support and finally sold it on eBay at a pretty big loss. If you can afford it, the Falcon Northwest stuff is great, as is VoodooPC (very pricey), and the Dell XPS line is also very nice.

Macs don't make very good gaming computers at all because the majority of games aren't released for Macs. And they're overpriced for what you get.

Yeah if you want a gaming laptop, dont go with alienware, cuz guess who owns it: DELL. If i were you i would build my own or have one built for you by someone not associated with any of the big box computer companies. The Dell mentioned by another person is supposed to be pretty good, but i havent been very pleased with Dells quality. You are smart going with a Duel core, but you should also consider AMD. My friend and his brother both built their own computers and both used AMD, and they have been great. Also, you could get a Macbook Pro, and then run bootcamp, which allows you to partition your hard drive and run windows, so you would still have the great true color graphics of the mac, but be able to run windows games. Another one of my friends has a Macbook pro and he plays Half Life 2 all the time with bootcamp.
