Yes, Ouija boards work. I've only tried it a few times and all of my results were minimal. From what I've seen, like everything else, it's not as dramatic as what you see on TV. There are no motors or magnets on a standard Ouija board.

I personally would not recommend using one. There are dangers. Think of a pay phone in a mall, when you call that pay phone from another phone anyone walking by can answer it, you have no way of knowing or choosing who it's going to be. A Ouija board is a lot like that, an open line to the spirit world and anything can answer. You have no way of knowing or choosing who or what it will be.

I've used a ouija board before. My boyfriend's sister has one. I've done it on several occasions, and I think it depends on whether or not a person truely believes they can talk talk to whoever they are attempting to contact. I'd say it worked about 2/3s of the time. A lot of people say that it's a person's subconcious that moves the triangle thing, and I believe that to be true. The few times that it didn't work, it was because two people who didn't believe it would work were doing it. I'm pretty sure that's an important factor. Either way, I wouldn't advise playing with one... I hadn't made the connection until I read a person's response above mine about the bad luck. Since I tried using the Ouija board last year, my grandmother has died, my house nearly burned down, my father developed a (non cancerous)brain tumor.... just a few to name...

There are things that are of the supernatural or paranormal we still don't understand much of yet.I knew a couple of girls who tried it and it spelled out some girls name. From what I remember it moved without their help too. This house that they were in had a history of things like this like red devils that came out of the basement when the house was a funeral parlor and morgue when it was first built. Supposedly there was also a triple homicide/suicide there and it wasn't used for many years. Just stories I guess but it was scary for the girls.I don't think they used it after that day. A motor or magnets? Maybe in Hollywood for special effects or some place where they pull off scams.I think someone had come up with some program or system for spirits to use like that. Here's one paranormal site.

All that spiritual stuff has it all twisted. All the talk about spirits and stuff is just paranoia, don't listen to them. The game is all in your head, literally.

The game is dependent on your subconscious. When you play the game, your decisions are greatly affected by your subconscious. There are no evil spirits or any other stuff, just your head talking to you.

The Ouija board is like an easier way of hypnosis. That's all there is to it. No tricks, no spirits, just psychology. In fact, they can be healthy to you if you ask the right questions.

And no, I'm not the devil trying to trick you into using the board so that one of my minions can possess you to further my control over the world...seriously

I seriously doubt that Milton Bradley is in cahoots with the 'other side'. It all plays off your subconscious. Rent a copy of the first season of Penn and Teller's BullS#*t! They have an entire episode where they disprove the Ouija board.

My father has this experience. He used it twice and both time he was able to call spirit. I do believe my father, because i know he doesn't lie. But still, i have this weired feelings about that. I don't believe that spirit can communicate with humans. So, to be sure I wanna experience it, but scared what if its true and haunt me for the rest of my life?" I don't wanna take any risk. Whatever it is, truth or myth, don't go near it. Your normal life could change into something paranormal. Thats what my father says.

When you use a Ouija board you are attracting the bad meaning Spirits to you and you will not be able to get rid of them for years if ever.

I did when I used to do it and I didn't even have to touch it; I'd think something and it'd spell it out for me. Yes they make sensible sentences and answer questions. That was my experience.
