Yes it is. I actually no people that have head theirs for up to 3-4 weeks at a time, a week off and then again for another 3-4 weeks. It can happen with hormone imbalances and in some cases it is just a build up of lining in the uterus which is trying to come away. Depending on your age it can also have something to do with blood pressure issues and menopause

It happens. Before and during the pill I've had two week periods. If you're on the pill and you skipped a pill or took too many at once, it could cause weird things to happen. If you're not on the pill, consider getting on it, because it can regulate your cycle. I normally only have a period for 5 days.

Two weeks is a pretty long time to be menustrating. I would see an OB GYN immediately. If you're a heavy bleeder, then the blood loss would be enormous. I would say it calls for the attention of a skilled professional. You want to make sure you are not hemorrhaging. The word hemorrhage means blood flow...but you don't want a drastic amount of blood loss.

No, it isn't. Periods should last 3 - 7 days (typically). You need to call your doctor and make an appointment immediately. This could be serious.

I would not consider that normal. You need to see your doctor as soon as possible. Some possibilities may be fibroids or endometriosis. The longer you wait the more damage you may be causing. Some issues you just can't let pass - this is one of them. I wish you well.

Depends....if its your first time, it might happen. But, normally, they last around 5 days. I would go see a doctor. Especially if the bleeding is on the heavier side.

I guess it's not exactly normal but they can last for different legnths. You never know how long they might be. Next month, it may be shorter than usual.

occasionally is normal..but if it continues every month you could have a polyp or you could need a D@C. Check with your gynocologist.
