It is believed that atheletes foot can be cured by urinating on ones foot, as urea in the urine is supposed to be anti-fungal. Try it if you like, but I have heard that soaking your feet in 'celtic sea salt' is a good way of getting rid of fungal infection (and it sounds is so much cleaner) - but more importantly, people usually get these problems from being candida. going on an anti-candida diet helps remove fungus' from the body for GOOD!

I've been told that urine will cure athletes feet. Well I hate to block that idea and it may even work for some people, but I seriously doubt it. Urine is urea. It's all liquid waste from your body. It has all kinds of things in it that could be infectious. According to how bad your athletes foot is if there's any open leisions then infection might set in. Be cautious with this old remedy. The best thing I've seen used is Tenactin. It's an over the counter spray and it may be a little expensive ($8.00) a can, but it doesn't take much of it to stop the itch and eventually eradicate the athletes foot. I've used it a lot.

Hi, The treatment of athelet foot is as under Any anti-fungal cream should be applied twice daily for three to four weeks. The treatment should be continued at least a week after the disappearance of the rash. With proper treatment, it takes around 3 weeks for a cure. The feet must be kept dry. Wearing open sandals or chappals helps keeping the skin dry. Cotton socks help by absorbing the sweat and must be changed frequently. Avoid scratching as it only serves to delay healing. Washing feet in warm water with vinegar is an old home-remedy. Enjoy Life Dr.Mojo

Use Vick's Vapo rub. It's a lot cheaper than the anti fungal remedies. It works.

anything that changes the natural ph balance of the infected area will help. I would opt for vinegar before urine.
