I did a sonogram today and the fetal heart rate was aliitte less than 100, according to the technician. I am 6 weeks pregnant and would like to know if that poses a problem or if it nothing to worry about.

You would have been sent to see your doctor right after if they felt anything was wrong and your doctor would have discussed it with you. In most cases after a fetal heartbeat is detected you should be fine. Low heartbeats happen sometimes, maybe the baby is resting, at six weeks it is early to be getting a heart beat. Don't worry to much, and call your doctor if you are really unsure.

a accepted fetal heart price at 6 weeks is i imagine between ninety - 100 and twenty bpm. some thing lower than ninety exhibits that the fetus isn't doing properly. some thing can ensue between now and each and each and every week. only attempt to stay comfortable till you comprehend for confident what is going on. good luck!

This does seem kind of low but as long as they said it was ok, I wouldn't worry about it. Call the doc office that did the sonogram if you continue to worry to ask a nurse for sure.

The heart starts beating about as fast as the mom's and picks up the pace as weeks go on. By seven weeks it's supposed to be 120-180.

That seems low but im sure if there was reason for alarm they would have said something. MAybe it's because it's just starting to get flowing and working im sure it will go up in the next few weeks.

Its all good as long as it is beating, the chances of misscarriage after you see or hear the heartbeat is low. The fetus may have been resting. The rate is slower when resting. Goodluck and CONGRATS
