Is it actually "Ann" or "Ayne--rhymes with pain"?

It's Ayn as in "pain." Pain in the cranium.

Which is kinda appropriate considering the nature of her writing.

OK, the truth is that kelli's answer is correct.

It's definitely NOT pronounced Anne.

I'm aware that many pronounce it as zed; to me, Z (as in zee) is the letter and Zedd is the musician.
