of course still remain her friend maybe she just have some insecurity about herself and probably feeling like being around you makes her feel better about herself but of course u must know everyone is equal regardless and if this continues to bother you tell her about it or just brush it off and be like whatever.

I had a friend like that in my case it was the other way around. My friend thought I was being snobby with her so she always wanted to do somwthing to out top me. Needless to say she never could but the point is we stopped being friends because we were just to different. I was never thinking of her as being beneath me but because I always had nicer things she thought I was looking down on her when that was not the case so maybe you should try talking to her and she what her reaction is to how your feeling. If she acts surprised and shocked that you think this then you will know that she isn't behaving this way on purpose and you two maybe able to work on the issue. If she acts like ( AND WHAT'S THE BIG DEAL) then run and don't look back because she is getting a thrill out of feeling like she is better then you when in all actuality your the better person of the two because you have something on the inside (a heart) and common sense which will take you a lot futher!!!!

If your friend is always telling you that she/he is better than you then I would move on. A good friend doesn't throw that in your face she/he will except you the way you are without a doubt.

If your friend thinks she's better than you she is not your friend. But on the other hand she know you have more class than her so don't let it get you down. keep being her friend and ignore her silly actions toward you.

That is not the kind of friend you need, she is insecure and self-centered. Real friends support each other , encourage and believes in each other. In a way, if you cannot avoid her, just do your best but stay humble.

Real friends don't compare, infact, they appreciate the great things the other one gets, or does, or accomplishes...if she thinks she is better than you, forget her, life is long, love is short and scarce, share it with someone who deserves you, not some tight assed *****!!!!!!

she is not a real friend if she's acting like you're below her. basically she's using you to boost her own self esteem and you don't need that, dump her and find some real friends that treat you as an equal..

Well, if she thinks she is popular, than yes.
does she put you down a lot, than yes.

The best way to know if she is your true friend is to see how she responds to you and how she talks and acts toward you.
A lot of my "FRIENDS" weren't my friends at all. they were posers and nobody likes those.

Good luck with your friend!
