A little more info would be helpful. Is it painful? Exactly where is it? If it is just behind the 3rd and 4th toes and is painful, it could be a Morton's neuroma...a growth that presses on the nerve and needs to be removed. It could just be a cyst...a little membrane containing fluid. Probably need to see a podiatrist ( a foot doctor).

If you are Caucasian and elderly, among the things to consider is Dupuytren's contracture. See an orthopedist.
