Um, you'll fit where ever you are comfortable with yourself.
Nearly agnostic Christian is rather oxymoron isn't it? Think about it.
Go to Trinity Western and take some philosophy and theology courses so you can intelligently process your views on your spirituality.

I'm sure it will be no "hellhole," as you say; but, at the same time, any private college with the word "Trinity" in its title is likely to have far more College Republicans and Students for Life members than College Democrats and Students for Choice, as well as a considerably more insulated and closed-minded atmosphere than a large research institute. You may not notice this, however, unless you've actually attended (or until you attend) a large research institute.
Meanwhile, think over that Agnosticism. It comes highly recommended by me. "Nearly Agnostic Christian" is not such an oxymoron; being Agnostic doesn't mean you have to abandon those Christian values that are worthwhile (such as, you know, "Don't kill your neighbor" and "Treat others as you would like to be treated").
P.S. Heh. You know, I just looked at their website, too. "LambLight Lecture"? "Jesus Christ - the resounding motif at the third annual Christmas at the Chan Centre concert"? Hrrm. You may have your work cut out for you.

you aren't from now on any style of Christian, you may opt to have the religion of the teachings of the Bible to be a Christian. you're an agnostic in case you neither trust God exists, nor trust God doesn't exist. in case you declare to carry close God doesn't exist, you're an atheist. Your declare that you want no longer some thing to do with the Bible is complicated, the Bible holds a record of what Jesus is meant to have reported, so even with you've heard about Jesus, got here from the Bible right away, or circuitously. there is definitely no reason you won't be able to take proposal from the countless teachings of Jesus, with out the opt to be a Christian. in my view i do no longer want Jesus to encourage me to need peace and equality, and Jesus does no longer symbolize this stuff for me.

I'm going to TWU right now and I love it! Trinity realizes that not all people who go there will be Christians, there is no pressure to conform and you can feel free to have your own beliefs. Because most of the people that go here are Christians, you will run into people that clash with your opinions but generally people are good about getting over that and seeing you for you. hope that helped!
