I have some lovely winter white pants just purchased at Ann Taylor Loft. I don't want to wear shoes of a matching shade, I'd rather have something that "goes" like a bronze-y taupe. What do you all think?

Yes - bronze tinted accessories would definitely look nice. Something gold-ish. That is a good look. Don't totally cast aside matching colored shoes, though. Try it - it looks really good. Try this site for great accessories: http://AmericanChic.net

How about letting the shoes match the top. I like the taupe, so that you could wear a beige y or light brown tops or layers.

I really like long skirts. My bf prefers the brief ones. So my wardrobe is loaded w/ 1/2 and 1/2.
