Your age is important in evaluating this. If you're over 40 then this is just the point in life that many woman dread...menopause! If you're younger than that then there could be a problem. That's a long time to not have a period. Some times things like stress and misuse of birth control can cause this but usually it doesn't last that long. I've missed mine for like 3 months and have even had times where it wouldn't stop. Pregnancy is the only other thing I can think of but you seem pretty sure that that's not the case. You really need to take a PAP smear test and inform your doctor because it could truly be the sign of something wrong going on. Value your body and get this checked out ASAP!

Depends on how old you are?? You may have some other medical problems and not even know about them. I have gone several months without having a period and I knew that I wasn't pregnant either, I did go to my doc who referred me to a spcailist GYN, saw him, no exam and he said it was OK that I didn't have one regularly. He did give me a prescription to take some pills if I really wanted to have one, but I never took those. My regular doc said not too. But you need to have atleast 2-4 periods per year. Check with you doc or go to a clinic, they will help you out. Good Luck!!

there's no longer something to rigidity approximately. you will get your era any time between 10-17. in case you get to 17 and you have no longer all started, then could be a time to bypass to the wellbeing practitioner's, yet all and sundry starts off their era at distinctive circumstances and whilst whilst your mum all started is a clever indication, it does not advise you will initiate on the comparable time. that's completely prevalent so which you would be able to no longer have have been given your era yet.

go to the doctor...that is my only suggestion...without being pregnant you should not go that long without having a period.
