Hey, I know what you mean; I have a hot/cold friend too. It used to really piss me off, but I eventually just accepted that as the way she was and that no matter how rotten her mood was, it would be different in a day, no hard feelings. I duck and cover when she acts like that because, really, there's nothing I can do to change it, and she will never accept that she's being a jerk.
Just categorize her as one of those friends who can be temporarily unavailable but can still be a great friend. It's really frustrating, I know, but it's a quirk of their personality. Once you accept that, you'll find yourself just rolling your eyes when she gets like that and quietly excusing yourself without feeling hurt.

wen she gets bitchy just tell her that her act is getting old and to make up her mind... u shouldn't be taking this kind of emtional abuse. this is how it starts so end her actions once and for all.
