southern living?

Question

I need help in making those lovely Christmas wreaths that I see in all the Southern homes. Green pine, suspended in the windows with bright red ribbon. I have the wreaths. I have the ribbon. I need to know how. Thanks

You said you have the wreaths-- so put the bow on them.....

if you just have the greenery and bows and want to MAKE the wreaths-- here is a method.....
Take a metal coat hanger-- bend it into round shape. You need some method of fixing the greenery to the wire-- one way is floral wires-- you may be able to find others. I weave the stems of the pine (stripping needles as needed) around the wire and hot glue the stems to each other.. it helps to work on a newspaper covered table with plenty of room-- a picnic table works well--Make the pine full as possible-- add some pinecones if you can-- magnolia leaves are also good-- magnolia leaves spray painted gold are also good. -- be creative!
